Q. I notice you are sold out on some items, how long will it take you to get more in?
A. Usually we keep plenty in stock however if you are waiting for a specific item we can usually get them in within 2 weeks.

Q. How hard is it to install your products?
A. These units are Plug’N’play and no soldering is required.

Q. Do you have instructions to remove the dash of our car?
A. Yes we do have instructions for some cars. Please email us for more details.

Q. Will the Honda units fit my Honda euro?
A. Yes the Honda units will fit all Honda Euros including units which have Sat Nav.

Q. How do I know if I need the ‘Small’ or ‘Big’ units for my Toyota?
A. As a rule of thumb, factory stereo’s with mp3 function are ‘Small’ and the rest are ‘Big’.

Q. My Toyota has a Sat Nav unit is it compatible?
A. Toyotas Sat Nav units are made by eclipse. So it’s not compatible.

Q. Will your units work on my Mazda Rx8?
A. Yes, they will work. However, the factory unit’s firmware must be 9.55 or greater.
The unit will not work with earlier versions or 9.81 or 10.01.

Q. How do I check the firmware on my Rx8?
A. Power the radio on, then press and hold the Text and Preset 1 buttons at the same time for a few seconds. The firmware will be displayed on your digital display.

Q. Will this suit my Mazda 6?
A. It is compatible with all Mazda 6's, however 2004 models require a L716 mod.

Q. What is the L716 mod?
A. The 2004 Mazda 6 requires the L716 mod, which involves jumping 2 pins on the circuit board.

Q. Do you modify 2004 Mazda 6 units for customers?
A. Yes we do modify units for customers in the Sydney area. Contact us if you need this modification.

Q. Is XCarLink compatible with all types of Ipods?
A. Yes XCarLink is compatible with all types of Ipods. We have confirmed that XCarLink is also compatible with the Ipod Nano Video, I-Touch and First generation I-Phone.

Q. Will the XCarLink work with the current 3g I-Phone and 2nd generation Nano?
A. Yes XCarLink will work with these products but it will not charge them.

Q. Does the XCarLink work with the 2007 Nissan Parthfinder?

A. No it does not. We are working to make the XCarLink Compatible.

Q. Does the XCarLink disable the CD player or internal CD stacker?

A. No it does not, it works as an extra external CD stacker.

Q. How much will the postage cost?

A. Postage within Australia will cost $10 and the postage method is Express post.
